I'm not sure I get what you're getting at with this...

The Internet as an information news source has already killed off various newspapers in this country (Hell, the Chicago Sun Times just filed for Chapter 11 yesterday). Newspapers generally appeal to the older crowd as the newer crowd has embraced news outlets from the Internet far more than they have their parents methods. I'm just going to take an educated guess when I say the majority of anime-fans in America are of the younger generation, and more importantly a good number of that subsection are tech/computer minded. It really isn't all that surprising to see New-Type USA et al go under in America. I'd expect anime based publications to live longer in Japan because the situation is different over there (anime being the niche market it is over here vs. over there). Also, as far as "cutting edge" information, anything anime news related that hits the wire in Japan is going to hit state-side via- the Internet LONG before any magazine ever gets a chance to publish it. Using the logic you're running with, one could argue that there is still a market for a qualified Town-Crier in every city too. So, unfortunately I'm siding with Michael on this one, he has a valid point. As the younger generation continues to age, and the Internet continues to evolve and get better I can see more and more newspapers continuing to bite the dust, eventually followed by the evening news on television. Inventions such as Kindle 2 may eventually lead to the replacement of all books, but I think that is even farther off than the previous two.

So you are saying the the Internet is to blame for a newspapers lack of human creativity ? What these newspapers need is to get into the ball game! What the newspapers lost over years was there ability to be unique. To stand out in a large crowd of newspapers.Two things the Internet can not do is to destory ideas and can't make ideas. As far anime magazine goes they is a lot information over here in the USA that has not be covered yet. Like do you know the true history of ADV Films ?
What about the true history of anime in 1960s here in the USA ?What about all the anime voice actors who work in the 1970s.

I am almost done seening all the episodes of the anime series called Beck:Mongolian Chop Squad. I really enjoyed the find job voice actor Greg Ayres did on this anime series. Animation done by Madhouse studio.Madhouse studio has also worked on Lensmen ,Tenjho Tenge ,Claymore, Vampire Hunter D,
Aquarian Age ,Sakura Wars TV Series.

April 18, 2009 .The NC Rowan County Anime Group will be meeting in front of Books-A-Million store in Salisbury ,NC at 5:35pm .At 5:50 pm we will be going over to person's home in
to have our meeting . We will be looking at the anime series series called Kishin Corps . This anime series is not appropriate for young kids because of some language use in this anime series.

May 2, 2009 is free comic book day. That means local comic book stores will be giving away free comic books.

Unhuu Sentrai Noiz will be performing a live concert at this year's Animazement 2009. Kichi Tsunoda and Noriko Hidaka are also joining the ranks of guests at Animazement 2009.
